A familiar route
We're traveling a familiar route in issue #292 of your weekly poetry shot
A border crossed
a coloured bridge
and then we pass
that man-made mount.
Along this
autoroute, familiar sights.
A road well traveled, but still so many things to see. And they shape how the road is experienced as well - from interesting sights they become distance measures: if we're here, we're almost there.
